Top Toys On My 2 Year Old’s Christmas List

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin Laid An Egg…. Oh.. wait.. that’s not how it goes..

Anywho, I’m all jazzed up about Christmas this year! This is my first year to have put money into a separate {special} account all year long JUST for Christmas spending. So I have a wad of money that I’ve saved and its nicely tucked away out of sight all year until little elves begin whispering in my ear around November. If you want to know more about my budgeting habits, check out this post of mine. SO here we go!! Silver bells, candy canes, ho ho ho and all that stuff and all HERE! This post contains affiliate links, but only because I want to make it easy for you to add these items to your Amazon Wish List!

Cue the mental image of Buddy The Elf jumping around in his pointy shoes “I LOVE CHRISTMAS”

To all my Grinches and Scrooge buddies – I will celebrate Christmas as early as I want and I won’t let your small hearts of Bah-Humbug deter me from tossing glitter in the air and frolicking around like a young reindeer. Away with you!

NOW… the reason you are all here! The LIST! Since my little snow angel, as clever as he may be, cannot write or read yet, I’m making out his Christmas list for him! I have many items at an array of prices and I put them all on an Amazon Wish List because that’s how I roll. Does this mean I’ll buy him everything on this list? No. This means I have options! Alright then… away we gooooo…

Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring Book and Markers

I can hardly wait to get his little hands on these genius Crayola products! Mess free means no colorful artwork on the furniture or walls! The markers only show color on the color wonder coloring book! Since my little love enjoys Daniel Tiger or “tye-gii” is he is lovingly referred to by my son, I opted for a Dinel Tiger’s Neighborhood coloring pad. He is also a fan of Mickey Mouse, so for options sake I added those to the list too! (Here is Crayola’s Holiday Gift Guide for 2018 if you are interested)

LeapFrog Scout’s Learning Lights Remote

Have you ever tried to switch the language on the TV after your toddler grabbed your remote and pushed ALL THE BUTTONS?! Yeah, I don’t speak French either (Thanks, Google Translate). I thought this would be a good way for him to have his own remote to push all the buttons on and leave MY remote alone!

Counting Bears with Stacking Cups

My kid LOVES stacking cups.. and bears… and colors. So this is basically perfect. I’m hoping as he grows over the next year I can help him to learn to start counting and pairing colors together.

VTech Turn and Learn

If you want to see my kid throw a fit, let him pretend to drive your parked car for 5 minutes then take him away. Meltdown City. He loves anything with a steering wheel. I thought this was so cool because it not only has a steering wheel but an array of different ways to learn and play at the same time!

Learning Resources Fresh Picked Fruit and Veggie Tote

I thought this would be a fun way to help him learn his fruits and vegetables! While some are the same color and even shape, that doesn’t mean they are the same. I’m hoping this toy will help him learn the difference and maybe get him excited about eating healthier too!

P is for Potty! By Naomi Kleinberg

My son thinks Elmo is the funniest character invented. If Elmo does it, it must be the coolest. (His Elmo toothbrush has proven this to be a fact) I am hoping this book helps him get more interested in being a big boy and visiting the toilet on his own!

Sesame Street “Potty Time” Potty Training Coloring and Activity Set

See above explanation. This has a progress chart with reward stickers. What do kids like more than stickers? Well…candy… which will also be used to bribe some poop out of my kid in the proper place, lets be honest.

LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

His grandparents have one of these and it’s pretty much his favorite thing about the fridge! He sings along with the alphabet and it comes with all the letters as well. It sounds out each letter and plays a couple of fun songs too.

Kids Musical Instruments Set

Because apparently I hate myself.

Original NapMat

At his Daycare, all the kids have NapMats… except my kid. He has a blanket that he lays on but no real “nap mat”. They are kinda pricy so that’s why I’m waiting till Christmas since I have this cash stashed away!

Elmo Slippers

Because I will NEVER show up to another pajama day without slippers for my kid! #momfail

Little Tikes Rocking Horse

Nothing says “emergency room” like a toy you used to have when you were a kid J I joke.. I truly think he would love this! I’ll keep a close eye and make sure he doesn’t launch himself across the room.

54 piece Jungle Animals

This kid is pretty great with his animals, but there are still many exotic animals to learn. Plus, once he can name the animal he starts making the sounds that animal makes. That’s just good entertainment, people!

Fisher-Price Grow-to-Pro 2-in-1 Tee Ball

Who doesn’t love a good outdoor activity? We are a big baseball family so this one was a no-brainer! I’m hoping his hand-eye coordination is better than his mom’s…

FOMI Kids Fun Pain Relieving Hot Cold Boo Boo Ice Packs

The older he gets, the more “bull in a China shop” he gets. After busting his lip last week because his legs were faster than the rest of him and he face planted on the wood floor, I thought a boo boo fixer would be helpful!

ShoppeWatch 12 pairs of Baby Toddler Socks with Grips

See above boo boo situation

Delta Children Chair Desk with Storage Bin

This is a great price and a good size for my little. This way, all of his creative items such as crayons and paper can all go in one spot and he can color in one place as well. I would love to get him his own kid size table and chairs but who are we kidding – I don’t have room for that!

Fisher-Price Grow-With-Me Trike

He has a tiny trike that he is too small for already, but this one is lower to the ground and would be able to grow as he grows! Perfect! Plus, a trike under the Christmas Tree really has that WOW factor!

The Learning Journey Little Rock Star Guitar

My husband plays guitar and my son LOVES to watch him play. He would be out of his mind excited to get his own guitar for Christmas!
